We love to travel as a family, and all our kids have grown up traveling from place to place. We usually drive, although we have flown a few times when the distance outweighs the level of sanity in the car. Sam is our middle child, about to turn 4 and he is at the age when he wants to be the big kid like Sophie and Bella, but also the little kid like Little Man and Sweet Pea. It can be hard for him when we travel, so I wanted to find something that would be special, just for him.

I found these sweet pillows from the beLOVED life and knew I’d found exactly what I was looking for! These pillows, made by Mimi Tin are soft, adorable, made for travel, AND they each feature a scripture verse on the pillow! After looking through their site I decided on this one for Sam:
the beLOVED life STRENGTH pillow. Not only is it bright orange (his favorite color), but it has a robot on it (he loves them) and it has my favorite verse on it (Philippians 4:13). Each pillow comes with a detachable shoulder strap for easy carrying – although Sam made me take his off because he wanted to carry the pillow by himself.
Each of the pillows from the beLOVED life are made for travel, complete with the shoulder strap with cell phone pocket (which we aren’t using because none of my kids have cell phones.) They also feature a rear pocket where you can store books, your kindle, a small blanket, etc. The pillow covers are easy to zip off and toss into the washer for cleaning, and then you simply zip it back on. Easy peasy!
This pillow has traveled quite a few miles already and has been Sam’s constant companion on the road, during vacations and at home. The bright orange color makes it very easy to spot and he loves having a special pillow that is just for him. It’s a total win-win!
Note: these photos were taken while the van was parked and the engine off, and Sam was not buckled into his booster seat. No children nor pillows were harmed in any way.
