As previously mentioned, I love to incorporate our children’s hand and foot prints into Christmas decorations and decor around our house. It’s so much fun as we decorate our Christmas tree each year to show the kids how much they have grown!
Here is one of my favorite baby ornaments to make:
You’ll need the following supplies:
Your baby and baby wipes
Paint the base ornament the color you want. I went with base red and base white.
Using washable paint and a foam brush, paint your baby’s foot. Layer on the paint a bit thick to get a good foot print, and then carefully press the foot onto the ornament. If for some reason you get a smudged print, you can quickly wipe the print off the ornament and try again.
Top the ornament with gloss mod podge, let it dry.
Add a ribbon for hanging, and you have a lovely memento of those teensy baby feet! Don’t forget to add the year and your child’s name to the front or the back.
