You might think that with all the stuff going on with Baby J and Baby S that it would be hard to come up with one blessing, let alone more. While last week I might have agreed with you, we’ve had time to absorb the news and focus on the positives instead of the negatives. Although, to be totally honest, it took me a few days, and I’m still not 100% there.
I’m working on it.
This week my blessings include….
This week I’m super excited to be a stay at home mom for the the first ever! Admittedly I’m nervous about money, but I have total confidence in my awesome husband that it will all work out. On a side note, I’m seriously happy that my hair is getting longer – if I’d know how long it would take to grow from the bob I might not have done it!
Baby S has been in the boots and bar for a month! The time is flying by and each day that passes we get closer to the time when he’ll only need them while sleeping. Thanks to a tip on instagram, I discovered Baby Legs – and they have been wonderful to use with him so we don’t have to take the boots off every time we change him. Not only that, but they look super cute on him!
Sophie and Bella have been doing great this week. We need to get back into a schedule and I can’t wait to get school started again, but it’s been fun to watch them interact and play this week. Yes, we have moments of screaming and Sophie decided she needed a *Bella Break* today, but overall they are super sweet together.
Baby J has started crawling!! She is doing so, so well and while we are now policing the floor because everything goes in her mouth it’s such a joy to watch her. Now if we can only get her to sit up from a floor position. We aren’t quite there yet.
And just for fun….every January I start watching Alias again – and I’m knee deep in Season One already. It’s such a fun show and even though I’ve seen it at least 8 times I feel like I still find something new each time. Basically it’s just a fun way to start a new year.
I’m looking forward to a fun weekend, where we might just get snowed in (again!) and starting next week off with a bang!
Now it’s your turn – what are YOU thankful for this week?
