It’s All About Connections……

I love blogging.

I love tweeting.

I love…well….I’m getting better at facebook.

In short, I love all the amazing connections that I’ve been able to make with social media.  By “social media”, I mean all the ways that we are able to connect using the internet.

I know that there are many ways to use social media, but I choose to use it to connect, to encourage, and to learn.  Now that I’ve been around the blogsphere for a bit, I’d like to start sharing tips and friends that have helped me along in my journey, in the hopes that they will help you!

Liz is my blog designer.  She is awesome. I was her first blog client, and a few months ago she decided to spruce me up just a bit – and I love the little changes she made.  Although we are on total opposite coasts she is just an email away and is quick to help when I run into a technical issue. {Not that it ever happens. Ahem.}

Christin is a fellow blogger. We met on twitter, and are in a GoodMorningsGirls group together.  I finally met her in real life at Relevant last year {now Allume Social} and she is passionate about helping new bloggers.  She recently started a consulting business, which I would encourage you to check out!

Deanna is a new blogging friend who wrote an e-book called “What’s Your Story?” and she asked me to review it. I loved it so much that she’s agreed to give away a copy AND I’m throwing in a giftcard to Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts!!  Enter here.

Stef rocks. Seriously. I used to be so intimated by her! I stalked her on twitter {but never engaged her} and read her blog but never commented. We met at Relevant, and again at the 2:1 Conference.  She is a truth teller and has such a heart for blogging and encouraging you to stay true to your calling. And yes, I now tweet and talk with her. {grin}

Now it’s your turn – give a shout out in the comments to a blogger or tweeter who totally makes your day brighter!

I’d like to make this a weekly meme – I think we can all use a little encouragement and connecting!
