I was a Daddy’s girl.
I wanted my Daddy all the time. He was my hero, my knight in shining armor, my everything.
Until I met Ken, of course!
We have been blessed with two girls, and I would love them to have the same close relationship that I had with my Dad.
We realized that we need to start building that foundation now, when they are young. It’s so important for girls to connect with their dads; to see how a young man should treat a lady. So, we decided that Ken should start taking the girls for special one on one time to build a solid relationship that will continue to grow and the girls grow and mature.
However, after an ice cream date, running on the tow path, and a trip to the river we ran out of ideas for Ken to do with Sophie and Bella.
Thankfully Ashley wrote an amazing e-book called 51 Frugal Father-Daughter Dates – which is a wonderful resource for all sorts of fun activities!
The book is broken into chapters by dollar amount, starting with free {I love that word!} and going up to $50. The activities included are fun, simple, easy and perfect for a Dad and his girls {or a mom and her girls!}
After a long day, trying to think of a new activity can be daunting – but Ashley’s book puts them right in your hand! Ken and the girls have gone on 3 dates so far using the ideas in the book, and they have had a blast!
You can purchase the e-book for only $2.99! It’s a steal – I highly recommend it! It’s the perfect Father’s Day gift – giving Dad and his daughter{s} the gift of time together.
Disclaimer: I received a copy of the e-book in return for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. The End.
