Here’s how I did this month…and then I have some BIG NEWS at the end of the post!
1. Pretty up the backyard. Done! The curtains are up and the whole area was swept, swept again, and de-bugged of all insects that have more legs than I do. Our round table didn’t fit the space so we used a folding table and chairs. It wasn’t my first choice, but it fits the space and it was free – so there you go!
Left is the before, right is after all the changes!
2. Finalize our curriculum for next year. Here is what we will be using for Kindergarten:
Science – Apologia: Zoology 2 Swimming Creatures
Amazing Science Vol I
History – Truth Quest: American History I
Bright Ideas Press: Wondermaps
Bible – Heart of Dakota: Little Hands to Heaven
Phonics – worksheets I downloaded
Writing – worksheets I downloaded
Math – still working on this. I have looked at a few programs, but haven’t found one that I really love.
3. Scrapbook. I rocked this goal! I’ve edited all photos from April and have a stack printed and ready to go; I purged all my outdated supplies {which means I threw them out!} and I made page kits for each batch of photos, which makes it much easier when I have a few minutes to scrap.
Now for the BIG NEWS….starting next week the 3in30 link up will take place RIGHT HERE! Ashley decided to move on from the challenge, and since I love it so much she’s handed it over to me. {yikes!}
After a lot of praying and talking with Ashley I am really excited about this move! I have been a part of the 3in30 Challenge since the beginning {last January!} and I can’t wait to dive in!
Next week {June 1st} come back and link up your June goals! If you don’t already follow me via GFC or RSS, you might want to so that you’ll get the weekly link up post right in your inbox.
Squee!! Who’s with me?!
