It’s Summer…or at least it has felt summer like here on the east coast the last few days.  With summer come all sorts of fun outdoor activities that I can’t wait to dive into with my girls!

We have a huge long list of fun- but here are the Top Ten simple and free adventures we can’t wait to do:

10. Bubble parties on the front porch.

9.   Making mud pies – complete with “sprinkles”….aka tiny pebbles.

8.   Reading outside on the lawn. Bliss.

7.   Splashing in our little water pool. I must admit that I have been known to dip my feet in too…{grin}

6.   Popsicles and ice cream cones. Nothing like a little popsicle juice running down your chin!

5.   Biking on the towpath. Really hoping that Bella will like the trailer this year. If not, we’ll strap on the bike seat.

4.   Picnic lunches in the park. I’m sure the ants will join us.

3.   Drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. Hopscotch, anyone?

2.   Throwing rocks in the river. And probably jumping in!

1.   Roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Yum!
