I have a lot of memories from our Memorial Day.
We kept it simple – parade, pool, picnic.
It was hot. {so very hot}
It was humid. {ugh}
The girls looked adorable, thanks to Grammie and Babys R Us.
This year, my all time favorite memory came from Sophie.
We were walking on the towpath and came across some ducks, geese and swans. {they are quite friendly and used to people}
The girls were enthralled and got fairly close.
Sophie says “Hey guys! Do you know how to play the game Duck, Duck, Goose?”
The duck says “quack, quack”
Sophie says “Mommy! They know the game!”
The swans were not impressed.
