Baseball, bubbles and a new lens….

Fact: This weekend was packed full of fun. We visited Sesame Place, saw the Red Sox beat the Phillies {woop!}, did some gardening and splashed at a birthday bubble-pool party.

Fact: Both girls were in the water park as soon as we got to Sesame Place. It was adorable to watch them run and play.

Fact: I took the girls in the lazy river {a huge walking pool that winds around Sesame Place} alone because my hubby didn’t pack his swimsuit. Let’s just say the water was *little* cold.

Fact: In the middle of taking pictures of Sophie hugging some of the character friends my camera stopped working. {yep – just stopped.}

Fact: Saturday morning I was at a camera shop bright and early to see if they could fix my camera.  After checking it out, the technician told me the camera was fine, it was my lens that had broken. It would only shoot on manual focus.

Fact: Saturday afternoon I ordered a new lens from Amazon – one that I’d been looking at for awhile. It was a great price, and with a gift card from my birthday I was able to pick up the UV filters as well!

Fact: Sunday morning I took out the camera to practice shooting manual focus….and found that my lens worked on auto focus. I have no idea what happened – but my lens is working fine!

Fact: Sunday afternoon we had a wonderful time celebrating a special little girl who turned 2 with a bubble pool party.

Fact: It was the perfect end to a fun weekend – chatting with friends, eating a yummy dinner and watching our girls play.
