Fact: This weekend I was in Sterling, Virginia for the 2:1 Conference.
Fact: I arrived Thursday night and had the room to myself. I was able to shower without anyone running into the bathroom and eat dinner without cutting it into pieces. I even went to Target and wandered around by myself. It was a mini vacation!
Fact: I was so happy when all my bloggy and twitter friends began arriving on Friday morning – it was lovely to finally get to put voices and faces together.
Fact: If you want to meet people, make sure you volunteer for the registration desk!
Fact: Being able to finally hug my friends was AMAZING – I am so blessed to have y’all in my life!
Fact: The sessions were wonderful – I found some terrific curriculum choices for next year, and was able to connect with some new companies to partner with.
Fact: A special thank you to Peter from New Blog Hosting. This poor man patiently explained the whys and hows about switching from Blogger to WP to me, the most un-tech girl ever.
Fact: I will be making to switch from Blogger to WP, probably sometime this summer. {I won a free year of hosting!} Thoughts?
Fact: The hugs and connections this weekend were priceless. Sharing hearts and dreams and visions over coffee and chocolate was blissful and just what this momma needed.
Fact: I need some time to work through the information that I absorbed this weekend – but I’ll leave you with this: Choose Joy. In all things. Please.
